Matthew 28:6 NIV
6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
When He got up, He picked us up. Death could not hold Him down. Even the winds and waves obey His voice. Demons tremble at His name. There’s an empty tomb full of power and meaning to us today. Because of that empty tomb, we can face our troubles and afflictions with joy, because He paid it all for us to cast our cares upon Him. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He never said that we would be without difficult times, but in those times, turn to Jesus. Keep Jesus in your heart. Shift your thinking to rise up in every circumstance. He’s still alive, working it out for you.
