Ecclesiastes 7:9 NIV

9 Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.
Patience is a little word that means so much.
Patience is action. Patience is wise counsel. Patience is faith and wisdom bottled together to show God’s power.
When we exercise patience, we are showing our faith in God; knowing that He has His hand on the thermostat to control the matter. So, we don’t have to worry, rush to judgment or wrath.
The absence of patience opens the door to uncertainty, fear and anger. We’re anxious and worried over some things that we just cannot control. Your reaction is not necessary for every circumstance.
Therefore, be patient; don’t allow others to bring you to a state of wrath. Sometimes God just wants us to be still and watch Him work.
