Romans 5:1; 8:6 5Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Patience is driven by inner peace. When we rest in The Lord, knowing that He is sovereign, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, we can have peace. When everyone and everything around us is chaotic, we can just be still, keep calm. God has a silver lining for us to see if we just trust Him. If we would just exercise faith, He has given us a spirit of peace through Jesus Christ.
When we put patience in practice, we can see the end coming in victory when no one can. God blesses us through the Holy Spirit with spiritual ears, spiritual eyes and discernment to be rational and think reasonably.
Don’t let the flesh take over (carnally minded) and cause negative consequences all because we didn’t want to wait on The Lord in the situation.
Patience and peace go hand in hand. Work the two together and be calm.
