The Lord is Good to All

Psalm 145:9  (KJV)

⁹ The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

There is not one day in our lives that should go by without our acknowledgement of God, the sovereign, heavenly father who loves us.  He shows His eternal love for us far more than we can imagine – because He’s full of mercy and compassion.  His love for us is not temporary or seasonal.  He doesn’t treat us like a jukebox; therefore, we must do away with the “jukebox” mentality.  That is, only calling on God or select Him when we need him to help us out of a bad situation.  That’s what a jukebox is for. You pay to hear what you want to hear, when you want to hear it, for as many times as you want to hear it. God doesn’t work that way.

God is not a jukebox.  He is good to all – all the time. He doesn’t always give us what we want to hear. He gives us truth. He has mercy and compassion on us when we don’t deserve it.
