Isaiah 30:18 (NIV)
18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him.
How merciful is our Lord who wants to love us, extend mercy/compassion toward us and bless us. He is just and fair. He understands that we are of flesh and will not always make the right decisions and commit righteous deeds. Despite our shortcomings, He stands with open arms to pardon us with his love, mercy and fairness. He can bring light into darkness, make crooked places straight and get peace out of confusion. We must not take his goodness for granted.
