Left Behind in 2025

Left Behind –
In 2001 the NCLB Act was favorably voted on and signed into law in 2002. The goals
included a multi-facet of requirements for teaching and learning; to make education
better for all students – one facet was AYP(adequate yearly progress)
During the year of 2000 the original “LEFT BEHIND” movie was created based on the
novel. It was to warn us all about the antichrist movement and the day of Armageddon.
Therefore, we must “get ready and be ready” for this day. In other words, get right with
God.
But when I think about the parallel of the two “NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND” law and THE
LEFT BEHIND movie; I can’t help but COMPARE that both were used to “make us
better” Both the law and the movie made us think about how educate and how we live.
Today, I ask you to join me in personally examining your year of 2024 and hand-pick
the things you bring in the year of 2025. What are some things, some habits, some
people, and some attitudes that you need to leave behind? There are some things in
2025 that we just need to leave behind in 2024.
God loves us and wants to bring us into a full relationship with Him. However, to
cultivate a life that honors Christ and fully immerse into what God wants us to be in Him,
we must leave some stuff behind.
Ring in the new year with love, prayer, Bible study, encouragement to others, faith over
fear, peace and joy. Your affirmations may be different from mine. But whatever you
chose, let’s start with what will make us better in 2025 and leave the rest behind.
