36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
Matthew 24:6-7 NIV
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
The scriptures speak clearly. As Pilate was deliberating with Christ, he made it clear that he had no reason to bring fault against him. Jesus also made it clear that He did not build treasures here on earth. He was not of this world. We cannot build earthly treasures and overvalue them. Today’s world is tough. We have to live through these desolate times. God has not forgotten or forsaken us. He’s still watching. We must keep praying and worshiping.
